Public History Advising

The Department of History at Texas State offers a Master of Arts in History with a Concentration in Public History. Since its founding in 1997, the public history concentration has prepared graduate students for careers in historic preservation, state and national park service, oral history, museum education, archives, historic site interpretation, and more.
